Do you ever have those weeks where you crave the weekends so you can do all the things? Then the weekend comes and you’re so tired from the week that you zone out and clean and rest and go through the motions before starting another week not having accomplished what you set out to accomplish in your personal life?
Anyone else missing the Girl Scout cookie hook up outside the grocery store? No? Just me?
A year ago almost to date, I spent the day with an amazing friend learning more about WWI history and minority experiences during that time. It was sunny, Texas felt like Texas, and no one knew what just a couple short weeks would bring. It’s hard to believe that it’s been nearly a year since the pandemic really hit home in the United States and honestly that year has been HARD.
